Is there cell phone service in that area ?

The cabins will have phone signals available in most areas. However, cell phone service may be at some places extremely limited or with no service at all, inside the Beavers Bend State Park and around the Broken Bow. The pay phones are available at some convenience stores located in the Hochatown area. The Cabins are all equipped with High Speed Internet & Wi-Fi connectivity , so you may use your smart phone for internet WiFi Call, Skype or Google Phone.

Are alcoholic beverages sold in area ?

Yes. There are many Liquor stores & convenient stores where you can buy beverages.

Can I get grocery & other supplies close-by ?

Yes, it's easily available. Pruett’s grocery store and Wal-Mart are located on HWY 259 in Broken Bow. There are several other General Stores and Gas Station convenient stores in Hochatown & Broken Bow area that will have good supply of grocery items that you might need.

Is there any fee to use the park and boat ramps ?

There is no fee to enjoy Beavers Bend State Park or to use the facilities at Broken Bow Lake. Fees apply for fishing and hunting in the lake. Licenses can be purchased at the local convenience stores and Wal-Mart store.

What is my driving distance to Broken Bow ?

From Dallas Downtown - Broken Bow = 190 miles / About 3.5 hours drive.
From Oklahoma City - Broken Bow = 255 miles / About 4-hours drive.
From Shreveport - Broken Bow = 155 miles / About 3-hours drive.
From Tulsa - Broken Bow = 218 miles / About 3.5 hours drive.

What are the cabin amenities ?

Our cabins are fully equipped with all that you need for a relaxing vacation. The cabins have all cooking utensils, dishes, flatware, silverware, linens and towels for the number of people the cabin is designated for. Each cabin has an outdoor grill and centralized heating and air-conditioning. Some cabins have complete outdoor picnic area with BBQ grill, fireplace & wash sink in the covered porch. All cabins will have a nice deluxe signature hottub. Regular Coffee makers and toaster are also available in each cabin. All cabins have game room with pool table & wet bar in some. Is there any cabin located on the lake ?

Broken Bow Lake is managed by the Corps of Engineers. No cabins are allowed to be built near the lake water. Our cabins are located very close to the Broken Bow Lake in the Ouachita Mountain with 10 min drive. However most of our own cabins are close to water , as we have twin private fishing lakes at the cabin site.

Will we get firewood at the cabin ?

NO. All our cabins have gas fireplaces where you can't do any wood burning. However, for outdoor fire pits, You bring the fire woods yourself. The fire woods are also available for purchase at any local convenient store.

Are there any restaurant in the area ?

There are several restaurants located in the Hochatown / Beavers Bend area – Shady Oaks, Abendigos, Stevens Gap & Beavers Bend Café. All are casual dress. The Frontier General Store offers take-out food. There are several additional restaurants with different other food taste in Broken Bow or Idabel.

What's physical adress of cabin  ?

All cabins are in rural areas in the forest and they do not have any so-called physical Street Numbers/ Street Names address. Put "501 S Park Drive , Broken Bow , OK 74728" in Map or GPS to reach Walmart, at Broken Bow City & then follow the direction sent to you.

How will I find my cabin ?

You will receive directions from Broken Bow to your cabin, as well as your cabin access code by e-mail approximately 5-7 days prior to your arrival.

Do you have handicapped facilities ?


Can I smoke in the cabin ?

NOT AT ALL. All our cabins are smoke-free. You can only smoke outside the cabin. Also please make sure you completely put off the cigarette ends & DONOT throw it out into the woods. If any guest smokes inside the cabin, there will be a fine of $500 to be charged to your credit card.

Is cabin air-conditioned ?

Yes – all of our cabins are luxury homes, fully equipped with thermostat controlled central heating and air-conditioning.

Is 4-wheel drive vehicle required ?

Some cabins are located in areas where 4-wheel drive may be considered more convenient. Be aware of possible weather and road condition that you may encounter, depending on what time of the year you are traveling. However, most of our cabins are on paved roads.

What do I need to bring with me ?

While Visiting Cabins - Don’t Forget to carry Flash Light, Bath Suit for Hot Tub, Light Jacket,
Rain Gear & Umbrella, Hiking Shoe, Water Shoe, Sunscreen Lotion, First-Aid Box & Bug Spray.

Do I need to carry LP cyllinder for BBQ grill ?

No. All our BBQ grills are already connected with onsite Gas Tanks.

Do I need to bring firewoods ?

Yes. We don't provide Fire Wood. You bring it yourself. You may get it at any roadside gas station or convenient store in Broken Bow.

Can I have a sleeper sofa bed ?

We don't provide any sleeper sofa bed. Each cabin has beds for everybody ( either king, queen or twin ). You don't need any sleeper sofa or pull-out beds.

What activities can I do ?

There are several things for everyone to see or participate in the Broken Bow Lake, Beavers Bend State Park, Ouachita National Forest & Mountain like hiking, biking, hunting, bass fishing, fly fishing, Cedar Creek golf course, river rafting in Mountain Fork River & Glover River, parasailing, boat and jet ski rentals, horseback riding, paddleboats, bumper boats, golfing, go carts, a nature center, scuba diving, the Forest Heritage Center, museums, children’s playground area, abundant wildlife, and much more. You will be in the lap of nature with full relaxation & enjoyments. Our cabins have huge twin private fishing lakes onsite with nice trails around it and fishing piers.

Do I need a fishing license ?

No. Our cabin guests don't need any license to fish in onsite private lakes. But, while fishing in the river or the Broken Bow lake, all ages are required to hold a valid trout stamp, and people 14 & over must hold a valid Oklahoma fishing license. Fishing licenses and trout stamps may be purchased at Wal-Mart, most convenient stores or the Beavers Bend State Park office.

Is there any boat ramp ?

Beavers Bend Marina is located on Stevens Gap Road. There are several other boat ramps in Carson Creek and Stevens Gap.

Can I rent boats ?

Yes – pontoon boats, fishing boats and Jet Ski rentals are available at Beavers Bend Marina.

Can I ride ATVs at the cabin site ?

No. ATVs are only allowed in designated ATV trails of the Ouachita National Forest. It is illegal to ride an ATV on any state or county roads. ATV rides are not allowed in the cabin sites. You must trailer your ATV vehicle to the ATV trails. You can take & ride ATVs in designated areas only in Beavers Bend Park.

Can I rent Canoe ?

Yes, it's available on the lower Mountain Fork River. Also inside Beavers Bend State Park , there are canoe, paddle boats, bumper boats & kayak rentals available.

Are there mountain bike and hiking trails in the area ?

Yes. Most designated biking & hiking trails are located within Beavers Bend State Park. For more information, visit our "Attraction" web page.

Will I see wild animals in the area ?

Yes. The cabins are located in the forest. Lots of rabbits, squirrels, raccoons, deer etc are seen. The deers come to our lakes frequently for drinking. The raccoons might as well come to the deck at night. Please keep the trash at the designated trash disposal wooden box outside. Please don't leave any trash outside on the porch or deck. In the woods, there may be some poison ivy and poisonous snakes like copperheads & rattlesnakes. You may like to carry some repellant to Poison ivy and bugs.

Where can I park my boat ?

Our cabins have ample parking space in the front or side access roads where you can park it comfortably.

Are there any eating places close-by ?

Yes, There are several restaurants within few miles in Hochatown - Cielito Lindo, Abendigos, Shady Oaks, Stevens Gap, Blue Rooster, Moon Tower & Beavers Bend Café, Gratefull Head Pizza and many more in Broken Bow City.

Can I ride ATVs at the cabin site ?

No.You must take it to ATV trails. Nearest ATV trails are in Northern Hills.

Can I swim in the private fishing Lakes ?

No, we don't recommend as there might be snakes.

What kind of Fishes are stocked in the private lakes ?

Channel cats, large mouth bass, bluegill, strpped bass, crappies & perch Fish.


I have more guests than listed, what do I do ?

Cabins are equipped to comfortably sleep the maximum number of guests indicated (2 per King/Queen Beds & 1 per twin beds. We only supply enough amenities (towels, dishes, etc.) for that number of people allowed. If you have more guests than the maximum limit, we suggest that you should book additional cabin. However, we may allow 2 additional guests with additional guest charge of $50 per night per guest, with advance approval of cabin manager. If the Adults/Teens count or total guests count in your group are more than the cabin has listed as allowed, there will be extra Guest Fees.

Can I bring my pet ?

Our cabins are Dog-friendly, but for max 2 dogs per stay. No cats, birds or other animals are allowed. Please make sure to bathe, brush and treat for fleas before bringing your furry family member to the cabin. It is strongly suggested that you crate your dog while you leave them alone inside the cabin. You must review the Pet Policy for strict compliance.

Can I bring any pet other than a dog ?


Is there any fee for bringing a dog ?

Yes, $75 for a dog below 15 Lbs, $150 for dog 15 Lbs & above, if declared & paid before check-in. We suggest to declare & pay the dogs before check-in. For undeclared unpaid dogs found in the property, $200 will be charged per dog.

Is the pet fee refundable ?

No. It's not a deposit. It's a fee for dog stay in the cabin and is not refunded.

How many dogs can I bring ?

2 Dogs.


Where do I check-in ?

It's a self-check In. The check-in instructions with lockbox code will be emailed to you 5 days prior to your arrival.

What is check-in & check-out time ?

Check-in time is after 4 PM & check-out time is before 11AM. These times are firm in order to allow adequate time for cleaning the cabin & refilling hot tub between guests.

Can I do early check-in ?

Depending on the readiness of the cabin, you may be accommodated for few hours early arrivals with cabin manager's advance approval.. However, the early check-ins are not guaranteed. An additional fee is applicable for early check-ins.

Can I do late check-out ?

Depending on our next booking in the cabin, you may be allowed for late check-out with cabin manager's advance approval. The additional charge for longer stay after check-out time is applicable.

Is there any fee for early check-in or late check-out ?

Yes, $75 per hour. Minimum 2 Hours.

Will I meet anyone at the cabin when I arrive ?


What do I need to do before check-out ?

Few small chores you need to complete before leaving. The list is pasted on the regrigertor door.


How much do I need to put down to make a reservation ?

Security deposit of $250 for each reservation on a credit card.

How much tax do I need to pay ?

Oklahoma Sales Tax 4.5%, County Sales Tax 1.75% & County Lodging Tax 3%. Currently Total 9.25% Taxes.

Do you accept cash payments ?

No. A valid credit or debit card ( Visa, Master & Discover ) is required to make a reservation.

Can I cancel anytime & get full refund ?

No. If you cancel the reservation, your $250 Deposit is forfeited. If you cancel the reservation after the full cabin rental is paid, nothing is refunded.

How much is cancellation Fee ?

Bookings cancelled up to 60 days before the day of check-in will incur a charge of $250.00. Bookings cancelled within 60 days before the day of check-in will incur a charge of 100% of the booking total.

Is security deposit refundable ?

Yes. It's refunded after your stay. But if you cancel the reservation, security deposit is not refunded.

Can I change my reservation dates ?

Yes, depending on availalbility. There is $75 Reservation Date Change Fee applicable. The cabin rent will be recalculated based on the highest nightly rate of both old & new reservation. The change has to be made 30 days before check-in date.

When do I need to pay the cabin rent ?

The full cabin rental is due 60 days prior to your stay. If the booking is made within 60 days of your stay, the full cabin rent is due at the time of booking.

Do you charge any cleaning fees ?

Yes, $75 per incidence per date change. $75 per incidence per cabin change. You can change only twice in total. The change can be done upto 30 days before the check-in date.

Can I switch reservation from one cabin to other ?

Yes, depending on availalbility. There is $75 Cabin Switching Fee applicable. The change has to be made 30 days before check-in date.
